2008 Indoor Track: Named Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year in indoor track...second in the 5,000-meter run at the Southland Conference Indoor Championship (2/22) with a time of 17:50.47...seventh in the 3,000-meter run in with a time of 10:20.78 at the SLC meet which was the second-best time by an Islander...2008 Outdoor Track: Placed second in the 10,000-meter run at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championship in a time of 38:34.52...was also second in the 5,000 at SLC meet with a time of 17:39.45...had the top time in the 5,000 for an Islander and second in school histoy at the Texas Relays (4/4) with a time o 17:29.98 to finish second...set a school record in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:15....At Western State College: Competed at Western State College in Colorado for coach Jennifer Michel...was a two-time All-American in cross country...also all-region and all-conference in cross country...all-conference in track in the 3,000-meter run...was ninth at the NCAA Division II Natonal Championships as a sophomore after placing 17th as a freshman...In High School: Attended Singore Girls’ High School.
