The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi volleyball team will return to the court on Saturday afternoon against the Northwestern State Lady Demons in a Southland Conference match. It is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be played on the Islanders home court at the Dugan Wellness Center.

A&M - Corpus Christi comes into the match at 11-14 overall and 4-7 in Southland matches. They are looking to get back on track after losing their last three matches. The Lady Demons are 11-13 on the year and 2-9 in league matches.

In the Islanders last match, they fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-20) against Central Arkansas, who is undefeated in league play. Northwestern State lost a close 3-2 (25-23, 16-25, 25-23, 21-25, 5-15) match against second-place UTSA who is 9-1 in conference matches.

"Northwestern is a really talented team who nearly pulled off a big upset last match," said head coach Tony Graystone. "They come into the match against us playing well so we will have to match their effort if we want to come out on top."
