The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi women's tennis team will look to get back in the Southland Conference win column on Thursday when they travel to play the UTSA Roadrunners in a league contest. Match time is set for 2 p.m. on the UTSA campus.
The Islanders come into the match with a 6-2 record overall and are 3-1 in Southland Conference matches. The Roadrunners are 4-6 this year with a 1-2 league mark.
Last time out Texas A&M - Corpus Christi won a 6-0 match over Prairie View A&M at home. Their last Southland match was a tough 4-3 loss against defending champion Northwestern State.
The Roadrunners also lost to NSU last time out, falling 6-1 against the reigning champs.
The last meeting between the two teams was on March 13, 2010 with the Islanders taking a 5-2 victory over their closest rival.
They will be looking to repeat the effort as they try to improve on the best start to league play in school history.
