ISLANDER WOMEN'S TENNIS CONTINUES PLAY AT ITA REGIONAL

Fort Worth, Texas -- The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis team had a light day at the ITA regional being held on the campus of TCU.

In the only matches of the day for any Islanders competitor, Erika Iriarte withdrew from her match against Mykala Hedberg of LSU with an injury while Iriarte and Alexandra Dyckman were scheduled to take on Weronika Bloczynska and Martina Trierweiler of UTEP but were withdrawn due to the Iriate injury.

The Islanders will compete in three singles matches on Sunday as Iriarte is scheduled to take on Klara Jagosova of UT Arlington in the open division.

Alexandra Valarezo will take on Constanza Gonzalez of Lamar while Dyckman will take on Maya Zein of Texas in the qualifier consolation rounds.

Dyckman and Iriarte are scheduled to take on Casey Kennedy and Kristen Reid of SMU in doubles action of the consolation round.
