CORPUS CHRISTI – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's soccer team will host a free youth clinic on Saturday, March 29, for all fans in eighth grade and below. The clinic will immediately follow the Islanders' game against Texas, which starts at 1 p.m.
Admission to the game, held at the Dugan Family Soccer & Track Stadium, is free for all fans. The postgame clinic will be put on by coaches from both the Islanders and the Longhorns.
The contest against UT is one of two home games that the Islanders will play in their first spring season, which is the offseason in NCAA soccer. A&M-Corpus Christi will also take on Houston-Victoria on Sunday, April 6, at 2 p.m.
The Islanders return all 10 starters in the field, with only senior keeper Audrey Baldwin departed due to graduation. A&M-Corpus Christi will see all of its goals, assists and shots return from the 2013 squad, which was the first in school history.
