Soccer Adds Two More Transfers for 2013 Roster
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi soccer team has added a pair of transfers to its incoming class for this fall. Sara Chandlee (Mansfield, Texas/Iona College) and Kallyn Redona (Las Vegas, Nev./Long Island University-Brooklyn) have decided to continue their careers at the Island University and will be eligible to play for the upcoming fall season.

Islanders Soccer to Play Inaugural Game on August 23
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women’s soccer team will christen the newly constructed Dr. Jack Dugan Family Soccer & Track Stadium on Aug. 23, with the program’s inaugural match. The Islanders will play host to the University of Houston, with the contest slated to begin at 5 p.m.

High School & Youth Soccer Clinics Moved to Haas Middle School
Final touches are being made to the Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer & Track Stadium, but due to weather delays, the facility will not be available for the Islanders High School Soccer Clinic and the Youth Soccer Clinic on June 10-11. Both camps will be held at Haas Middle School (630 McArdle Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).

Samantha Larson Joins Islanders Soccer Staff
Head Coach Shanna Caldwell of the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women’s soccer team has announced the addition of Samantha Larson to the staff as an assistant coach. Larson joins the Islanders staff after most recently serving as an assistant coach at Elmira College in New York.

Islanders Soccer Adds Three Transfers to Incoming Class
The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi women’s soccer team has added a trio of transfers to its incoming class for the 2013 season, head coach Shanna Caldwell announced today. Rachel Keeley (Aberdeen, Md./Harford CC), Jenny Hwang (Manchester, Conn./Univ. of Bridgeport) and Aulona Velaj (Stamford, Conn./University of Bridgeport) will join Islanders Soccer in its debut campaign this fall.

Islanders Soccer Camps on the Horizon
The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi women’s soccer staff is proud to announce it will host numerous camps this summer at the newly constructed Dr. Jack Dugan Family Soccer and Track Stadium. The camps will take place in both June and July and will be inclusive for all age groups and skill levels.

Cordero Becomes First Signee in Islanders Soccer History
Las Vegas native Meghan Cordero has signed on to be the first student-athlete in the history of the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi women’s soccer program, head coach Shanna Caldwell announced today. Cordero, who graduated high school in three years, will enroll at the Island University in January 2013.
