SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Texas A&M - Corpus Christi women's golf team finished their fall season with an eighth-place finish at the MSU/Payne Stewart Invitational. Nikki Dunn finished 13th individually with a three-round score of 229, her best finish of the fall.
A&M-Corpus Christi played extra holes today following Monday's suspension of play due to darkness in Springfield. The Islanders had two top 20 finishers with Dunn finishing 13th and Ryann White coming in 16th overall with a three round score of 230.
On Tuesday, Dunn had two rounds of 76 while White shot a team low round of 73 in the second round and a 76 to close her day.
"Nikki (Dunn) and Ryan (White) really challenged each other and I'm glad that they had a good tournament this week," said head coach Carol Blackmar "Our focus now turns to the offseason where we'll look to clean up somethings, but I was happy with our good start today which had hurt us at times this fall."
Cecilia Jeon fired two rounds of 80 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 39th. Katie Belser shot 85 and 80 tying for 51st.
Rounding out the A&M-Corpus Christi line-up was Christina Reynoso with rounds of 89 and 93.
