Islanders women's golf concludes play at ORU Shootout

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's golf team finished play at the Bob Hurley Auto ORU Shootout on Tuesday afternoon. The Islanders were 14th as a team and shot a 332 to close the tournament at the Meadowbrook Golf Club.

Nikki Dunn had the low score of the day for A&M-Corpus Christi with an 80. Ryann White finished play in a tie for 19th after posting a final round 81.

Dunn's three round total put her in 54th place. Lindsay Biehler finished in 60th place after a closing round score of 85.

Katie Belser tied for 67th after an 86 and Cristina Reynoso had a 87 while finishing in 86th place.

"We're disapointed but looking forward to improving and playing stronger next week," said head coach Carol Blackmar.

Next week the team returns to Oklahoma for the Dale McNamara Tournament, hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Patriot Golf Club in Tulsa.
