FLORENCE, Ariz. - Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Courtney Peeler continued her strong play at the Northern Migration Invite on Tuesday at the Poston Butte Golf Club carding a 77 to finish the day tied for 18th in a field of over 100.

After an opening round 74, Peeler finished the second round with a 36-hole score of 151. She is one shot out of the top 10 and four out of the top five. Ashley Watkins was the other Islander to break 80 on the second day. She finished with a 79 after recording an 85 on day one. Ryann White followed her round one 75 with an 83. Chelsey Watkins finished with an 83, while Cecilia Jeon shot an 87. The Islanders now have a two-round total of 641.

With two players in the top five, UTSA continues to lead Idaho by one shot - 594 (298-296) to 595 (299-296). Minnesota is third with a 596 (300-296). Idaho's Kayla Mortellaro is the individual leader with a 138 (68-70).

The tournament concludes on Wednesday with the final 18 holes.
