The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi golf team wraps up its fall campaign this Monday and Tuesday when they compete in the 32nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational at the Pelican Preserve Golf and Country Club. Each day will begin with a shotgun start.

The Islanders have battled inclement weather all fall and will be looking to play their second full tournament of the season. Rain has shortened two of their three tournaments thus far.

Joining the Islanders and the host Panthers are Central Florida, Furman, Cincinnati, South Florida, Stetson, Missouri State, Florida Atlantic, Bradley, Daytona State, Drake, Murray State, North Texas and Florida Gulf Coast.

The Islanders will be looking to match last year's strong showing in the tournament when they placed fifth with a 918 as they shot their lowest three rounds of the fall with rounds of 305, 306 and 307. Two weeks ago at the Elkins Lake Classic, the Islanders had their best showing placing third after firing a 298 in the opening round which tied for the third-best round in school history. Ashley Watkins led the way with an eighth-place finish, while Ryann White was tenth and Courtney Peeler 12th.

"We are excited to be back at the tournament after such good showing last year," said Islander coach Carol Blackmar. "I think a strong finish in the fall really gave us some good momentum heading into the spring. I would like to have that happen again."
