GI: What does it mean to be a part of the Islanders women's basketball family?
GG: For me, it means success and to be a part of a winning tradition, doing everything right, doing things that Coach Chadwick wants us to get done, but mainly success.
GI: What are you most looking forward to this season?
GG: To get back on the winning track.
GI: What is one word to describe yourself?
GG: Anal retentive
GI: Growing up who was your sports idol?
GG: Brett Favre
GI: Favorite arena/place to coach in?
GG: American Bank Center
GI: What is your favorite quote?
GG: "Speak kind words, hear kind echoes."
GI: What is your favorite sport to watch other than basketball?
GG: Football … Packers for sure.
GI: Biggest sports icon or celebrity you have ever met?
GG: I haven't met a lot of them, but Tom Izzo was one of them. I enjoyed meeting him and working his camp.
GI: Favorite place to eat on the road while recruiting?
GG: Which Wich, if the place we go has a Which Wich.
GI: What is one random fact about you that most people don't know?
GG: My wife and I are expecting our first child in November.
