GI: What does it mean to be a part of the Islanders women's basketball family?
RC: It means everything. It means being at the exact spot at exactly the right time to really make a difference.
GI: What are you most looking forward to this season?
RC: The challenge. The opportunity that we have in front of us to resurrect the basketball program.
GI: What is one word to describe yourself?
RC: Intense
GI: Growing up who was your sports idol?
RC: Michael Jordan
GI: Favorite arena/place to coach in?
RC: Any arena in the NCAA Tournament.
GI: What is your favorite quote?
RC: "It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog."
GI: What is your favorite sport to watch other than basketball?
RC: College football
GI: Biggest sports icon or celebrity you have ever met?
RC: Julius Erving
GI: Favorite place to eat on the road while recruiting?
RC: New York: Chinatown, New Orleans: Ralph & Kacoo's, Nashville: Bar-B-Que Downtown, Memphis: B.B. Kings … lots of good places out there.
GI: What is one random fact about you that most people don't know?
RC: I love boats.
