Islanders Softball Fall Schedule Set

CORPUS CHRISTI – The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi softball team has announced its fall 2012 schedule. The Islanders are slated to play six games over three dates under head coach Stephanie Hughes.  

This weekend the Islanders will travel to Sugar Land, Texas, to compete in a two-day tournament at the Sugar Land College Classic. The squad will take on St. Mary's in the opener on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 12:30 p.m. before facing Blinn Junior College at 3 p.m. Day two has the Islanders squaring off against Texas Southern at 10 a.m. before finishing the day with a 12:30 p.m. contest against former Southland member Texas State. 

The Islanders will return home the following weekend to host a doubleheader at Chapman Field on Oct. 6 against Texas A&M International University at 10 a.m. and Houston-Victoria at 12 p.m.
