2012 (FRESHMAN): Made her first career start in the circle against North Texas in her only appearance of the season … recorded one strike out while allowing four hits in 2.1 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Heritage High School for head coach Nicole Risica … recorded a .439 batting average while striking out 238 batters as a junior … named All-League softball and earned a spot on the Californian All-Valley team in 2008-09 while helping her team advance to the semi-finals of the CIF … as a junior she earned All-League MVP honors as well as first team honors … helped her team win the 2010 league championship and was a 2010 CIF Qualifier … also played tennis. 

PERSONAL: Born Bethany Slick on July 2, 1993, in La Mirada, Calif. … parents are Richard and Tracy Slick … plans to major in kinesiology.
