2010: As the starting catcher for the Islanders, Tucker produced both offensively and defensively, hitting .300 for the season while setting a new Islanders record with 11 home runs during the year and tying for the team lead in RBI at 38…finished the year with a team-high 13 multi-RBI games and also had 12 multi-hit games…was one of the top defensive catchers in the nation, throwing out 22 base runners, by far the highest total in the Southland Conference, while only allowing 21 stolen bases, the lowest total in the league…had a .587 slugging percentage and drew 17 walks...named a Second Team All-Southland Conference pick following the season.

Prior To Texas A&M – Corpus Christi:  Played at Yavapai College as part of the 2009 NJCAA National Champions...team finished with a 60-8 record during her sophomore season and a 48-16 record her freshman season...holds the school record for single-season home runs at 20...named First Team NJCAA All-American, NJCAA Region I Catcher and first team all-conference her sophomore year...Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I First Team All-American...awarded 2009 Diamond Sports NJCAA Catcher of the Year honors...NJCAA Region I catcher, NJCAA Second Team All-American, NFCA Second Team All-American and second team all-conference following her freshman season.

High School:  Played for coach Amy Swiderski at Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson, Ariz...team finished 33-3 her senior season and won the state championship in 2005 and 2007...2004 Newcomer of the Year...2005 Arizona Republic All-Arizona 5A Team, Arizona Daily Star, All-Southern Arizona and Arizona Citizen All-Stars honorable mention.
