Prior To Texas A&M – Corpus Christi:  Smith played alongside Brittany Tucker at Yavapai Junior College for coach Stacy Iveson...was a two-year starter for the Rough Riders, earning NFCA All-American and First Team NJCAA All-Region honors her freshman year and NJCAA Division I All-American honors her sophomore season...helped her team to a 46-18 record with a regional championship her freshman season and a 56-7 record with a NJCAA National Championship her sophomore year.

High School:  Played for coach Derek Drumtra at Millennium High School in Goodyear, Ariz....hit for a .500 batting average in her senior season while being named the Regional Player of the Year and First Team All-State...her team won the regional championship all four years on the team while finishing as state runner-up her sophomore season...holds the Millennium HS records for batting average, RBI, doubles, triples and stolen bases...also holds the single-season records for RBI, doubles, triples and stolen bases.
