Natchitoches, La. - The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team have had their games cancelled for Saturday and will now play a double header starting at 12 PM on Sunday afternoon. The games were moved to the condition of the field from recent rain storms.

The Islanders come into the series with a 8-18 on the year with an 0-9 record in Southland Conference play while the Demons are 3-20 on the season and 1-8 in SLC games. The Islanders are looking for their first SLC win after an up-and-down last week.

The Islanders started the week by shutting-out the Texas Longhorns 5-0, the first team to blank the Longhorns on the season. In the second game of the double header, the Islanders got off to a slow start and rallied late, but fell by a 9-8 score to the Longhorns. During the weekend series, TAMUCC was swept by Texas State in three games.
