Islanders Men’s and Women’s Tennis Back On Road For Doubleheader

The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Men's and Women's Tennis teams will be back on the road Tuesday afternoon, taking part in a doubleheader at Prairie View A&M. The Islanders and Panthers will start play at 2 p.m. on the PVAM campus.

The men's team comes into the match looking for its first win after falling to three very tough teams to open the season. The women will look to make it three in a row after defeating nationally ranked Houston and Southland foe Central Arkansas in the first two matches of 2013.

Peter Nagy and Matt Westmoreland are the top two singles spots lead the men's team, while Doris Kuselj and Maider Martin set the tone on the women's side.

For Prairie View A&M, the men's team is 1-0 on the year after taking a 7-0 sweep over Jacksonville College to open 2013. The women's team has also fared well, earning an identical 7-0 final over Jacksonville on Jan. 25 in Prairie View.
