The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi tennis teams will both be in action on Thursday in Houston when they play at Prairie View A&M before heading to Beaumont for a weekend match in Southland Conference play.
The men's team, currently 3-4 on the season, will play a doubleheader against the Panthers with the first match scheduled for 9 a.m. while playing an encore at 3 p.m. in the afternoon. They are coming off of a 5-2 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette in their first home match of the season.
The women's team comes into the match after not having played in almost two weeks, winning a 4-0 match against Texas - Pan American in their home opener last time out on Feb. 6 at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
Following the trio of matches against PVAM, the Islanders teams will travel to Beaumont for a Sunday pair of matches against the men's and women's teams of Nicholls. Both matches will start at 11 a.m. and will be the second Southland match of the year for the women and the league opener for the men's team.
