MEN'S TENNIS TEAM OPENS FALL SEASON AT BAYLOR
Members of the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's tennis team will be in action this weekend at the season opening Baylor Fall Invite.
In the Baylor tournament, the Islander men will be taking on some very strong competition as 26 of the top 100 nationally ranked players are participating in the tournament, including six of the top 20 in the country.
The Islander men should once again be a formidable opponent, as they return everyone from the team that represented the SLC in the NCAA Championship tournament and went undefeated last year in the SLC.
"The Baylor tournament is the strongest fall tournament in the nation." said head coach Steve Moore. "This will be a good test to see where we are and what we need to work on."
Schools with individuals participating in the tournament are the Islanders, host team Baylor, Fresno State, Nevada, Wichita State, Oklahoma State, Indiana, Texas A&M, UT- Arlington, Portland, Texas, Air Force, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Louisiana-Lafayette, Arkansas, UTSA, New Mexico State, Rice and TCU.
