Where can I get Islanders gear in Katy?

Islanders gear will be available for sale on Friday at the Islanders Conference Tournament Party. The party runs from 5-7 p.m. at the Southland Bar & Grill in Katy. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

I’ve kind of lost touch with the team this year. How are they doing?

Based on win differential, the Islanders women are the most improved program in the nation (14 more wins than last year) and the Islanders men are the second-most improved program nationally (11 more wins). Combined, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s plus-25 improvement is far and away the best in the nation. It’s a great time to be an Islander!

What players should I watch for?

Both squads have really done a great job of playing team-oriented basketball that is propelled by strong defensive performances. But John Jordan was a First Team All-Southland selection after leading the team in scoring and assists, and Jasmine Shaw was named the Southland Newcomer of the Year and a Second Team All-Southland selection as the team’s leading scorer.

How can I help the teams?

Each team has its own booster club – the Rebounders Club for the men and the Locker Room Club for the women. Links are set up below for you to donate to them.
