CORPUS CHRISTI – The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi men's basketball games against Houston (Nov. 25) and UTSA (Dec. 21) will be televised live by Comcast Sports Net-Houston, it was announced today. Those two games will join the Islanders' doubleheader at McNeese State on Jan. 10, which will air on ESPN3.
CSN-Houston is also the home of "Islanders Insider" – a half-hour show bringing viewers inside Islanders Athletics. The show airs weekly at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, and features segments with men's basketball coach Willis Wilson and women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick as well as features and upcoming promotions for all the Islanders programs.
CSN-Houston is a new regional sports network that launched on Oct. 1, 2012, and will be the home of the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros. The network also has a strong commitment to high school and college sports in the greater Houston area, including the Southland Conference and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
The network is available to all local TV providers and is seeking full distribution across the Comcast SportsNet footprint as fast as possible. The network will be available to all Comcast Houston video customers and is in active discussions with providers across the five-state footprint. That includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.
