What up, Islander Nation?!

I watched the LSU vs. Alabama game the other night. It was ugly.  LSU made it past the 50-yard line one time! ONE TIME! That's crazy.  They should have given Jarrett Lee a chance.

I've got a cousin that goes to Bama, and now I think I'll get a "Roll Tide" text from her just about every other week.  I can't stand hearing "Roll Tide." I think it's because the state of Alabama is ruled by Alabama football. The other big thing is that Charles Barkley is from Alabama.  That's all I can think of.

Speaking of playoffs, we just started conference play.  The way to start conference is looking at it like it's a brand new season.  The nonconference games are just to prepare us for this moment in the season.  We are very prepared, and the UTSA win was the start of a huge run, so to the rest of the conference, WATCH OUT!

Back to the playoffs, how about my Houston Texans! First playoff win in franchise history. Not to mention we won with a third-string quarterback and without our best defensive player. I think it's awesome.  The way the Texans came together through the perseverance, (this is very corny, sentimental, please forgive me), it sort of reminds me of the run we're about to make in conference.

It's been real!
