CORPUS CHRISTI – Single-game men's and women's basketball tickets are now available for purchase at the Islanders Athletics Ticket Office by calling 825-BALL (2255) today. Fans can also purchase tickets for both men's basketball and women's basketball online.
The 2011-12 season tips off with the men's basketball team's exhibition against Incarnate Word on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the American Bank Center. Single game tickets for the showdown against Big 12 foe Texas Tech are $25 for Courtside seats or $20 in the Island section of the American Bank Center. For all other men's games at the Bank Center, Courtside seats are available for $14, Island for $8. Tickets for the doubleheader on Nov. 22 are available for the normal men's single-game price and include admission to both the men's and women's games.
Other highlights of the home schedule include the return of former head coach Ronnie Arrow, as his South Alabama squad visits the Coastal Bend on Dec. 15. Homecoming is slated for Jan. 28 against Stephen F. Austin, while the home opener comes against Denver on Nov. 14. General admission seats for the UT-Arlington (Jan. 18) game in the Dugan Wellness Center are $8. Click here for the full men's schedule.
For the women, Courtside seats for all games at the American Bank Center are just $8, with Island seats available for $5 (except the doubleheader on Nov. 22). General admission for all games at the Dugan Wellness Center is $8.
The women will begin their home slate with a pair of BCS conference teams, as Missouri (Nov. 12, Dugan Wellness Center) and Colorado (Nov. 16, American Bank Center) visit Corpus Christi.
