Head Coach Willis Wilson and the Texas A&M ? Corpus Christi men's basketball team have announced the signing of Jason Smith (Fort Worth, Texas/Allen CC) to a National Letter of Intent. Smith, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound forward/guard, helped lead Allen (Kansas) Community College to the Region VI Championships in 2011.

The Texas A&M ? Corpus Christi men's basketball team has signed Myron Dempsey (St. Petersburg, Fla./Redlands Community College) to a National Letter of Intent, Head Coach Willis Wilson announced today. Dempsey is the fourth player to sign with the Islanders this spring and the fifth overall player to sign on for the 2011-12 season.

K.T. Turner Joins Islanders Men's Basketball Staff
Head Coach Willis Wilson has rounded out the Texas A&M ? Corpus Christi basketball staff with the addition of Kenneth (K.T.) Turner as an assistant coach, it was announced today. Wilson also announced that Mark Dannhoff, who completed his first season as an assistant coach this past year, will remain a part of the Islanders staff.

Islanders Stave Off Bethune-Cookman Rally for 69-65 Win
Demond Watt (23 points, 15 rebounds) and Justin Reynolds (10 points, 13 rebounds) each posted double-doubles as the Texas A&M ? Corpus Christi men's basketball team took a 69-65 victory over Bethune-Cookman at the iBN Las Vegas Invitational. The Wildcats (2-3) rallied to bring the game within one score, but Garland Judkins hit four key free throws down the stretch to ice the contest for the Islanders (2-4), who will play at 4 p.m. CT/2 p.m. PT on Saturday.

Islanders Head to iBN Las Vegas Invitational
The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi men's basketball team will conclude its 5,000-mile road trip this weekend with a pair of games at the Orleans Arena in the iBN Las Vegas Invitational. The Islanders take on Bethune-Cookman in the opening matchup of the tourney and then will face either Valparaiso or Northern Colorado. All three teams have lost their opening two games of the Invitational, as all of them played a pair of road games in the on-campus, preliminary rounds of the event.

Jayhawks Too Much for Islanders
Horace Bond finished with six points and a season-high eight rebounds, but Kansas' transition offense was too much for the Texas A&M Corpus Christi men's basketball team in a 82-41 defeat on Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse. Men's Basketball Sets For No. 6 Kansas
The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi men's basketball team will play its fifth game in 11 days when it heads to Lawrence, Kan., for a matchup with No. 6 Kansas on Tuesday, Nov. 23. The Islanders will be looking to stun the national powerhouse, which is looking for its school-record 63rd straight victory at Phog Allen Fieldhouse. The game is the second of the preliminary matchups in the iBN Las Vegas Invitational, which will culminate Friday (vs. Bethune-Cookman) and Saturday (opponent TBD) at the Orleans Arena.

Watt Scores Career-Best 26 in Loss to Ohio
Demond Watt scored a career-high 26 points and added 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season, but it was not enough as the Texas A&M ? Corpus Christi men's basketball team fell 83-70 to Ohio on Sunday. In the preliminary round of the iBN Las Vegas Invitational, DeVaughn Washington led the Bobcats (2-1) with 16 points, while Terence Jones finished in double figures for the third straight game for the Islanders (1-3) with 11.

Men's Basketball Opens LVI at Ohio Sunday
After a brief respite, the Texas A&M - Corpus Christi men's basketball team returns to the court on Sunday for the first game of the iBN Las Vegas Invitational, at Ohio University on Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT. The Islanders are in the midst of a five-game, 11-day swing away from the Coastal Bend which commenced on Wednesday at Oklahoma State. By the conclusion of the LVI, the team will have played its first seven games in a span of just 15 days.

Cowboys Rally Past Islanders Late, 68-58
Terence Jones netted a career-best 18 points and the Texas A&M ?
