Texas and Kleberg Bank Classic Tickets Go On Sale Friday
Tickets go on sale Friday for the Texas Longhorn baseball team's
April visit to the Sparkling City. Sixth-ranked Texas, who has won
six national championships, visit Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a
6 p.m. contest on Tuesday, April 5. At 9 a.m. this Friday, tickets
will be available to the public at cchooks.com and the Whataburger
Field Box Office.
Order via phone by calling 361-561-HOOK (4665). All Horns-Islanders
tickets are $10.
Also on sale Friday morning are tickets to the 2011 Kleberg Bank
College Classic, featuring No. 9 UConn, two-time (2006-07) national
champion Oregon State, Indiana and the host Islanders. Adult
packages are $24 for three days and six games of premier
intersectional competition February 25-27. UConn and Indiana are
the first Big East and Big Ten institutions, respectively, to
participate in the annual Whataburger Field college tournament.
Youth ticket packages for the Kleberg Bank College Classic are $12,
with daily tickets $10 and $5.
