2011 (JUNIOR): Made 19 appearances and 16 starts, going 10-6 with a save in 96 innings of work … set a school record with his 10 wins … had a .249 batting average against and punched out 68 … tossed three complete games on the season … punched out seven over five innings in his Islanders debut against MVSU (2/18) … collected the save in pitching the ninth inning against Texas (2/22) … had five Ks in seven innings against Texas State (3/4) … tossed six innings to get the win over Texas Tech (3/12) … had eight punchouts in eight frames at Nicholls (3/18) … struck out eight in five innings to get the win over McNeese State (3/25) … picked up a win in relief in the series finale with the Cowboys (3/27) … threw a complete-game two hitter at Southeastern (4/23) … followed that up with seven Ks in seven innings with no walks against UCA (5/1) … grabbed win number eight with 5 2/3 frames at UTA (5/8) … struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings against NW State (5/15) … threw eight gutsy innings, stranding the bases loaded in the eighth at SHSU (5/20) … was named to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team after a complete-game three hitter against Lamar (5/26), in which he allowed just one unearned run.
