2011 (SENIOR): Led the bullpen with a 3.52 ERA over 26 appearances in relief … allowed 23 hits in 23 innings with just six walks allowed in striking out 18 … punched out two in 1 2/3 innings against Mississippi Valley State (2/18) … had a scoreless frame against Texas State (3/5) … struck out the side in a scoreless inning against UT-Brownsville (3/22) … had a perfect frame against HBU (3/29) … went 2/3 without allowing a baserunner at UTSA (4/3) … pitched a scoreless inning vs. Texas (4/5) … got the win in relief against UCA (4/29) with a shutout inning … pitched in all three games at UT Arlington, keeping the Mavs scoreless in every game … tossed a pair of perfect innings against Northwestern State (5/14) … threw 1 2/3 scoreless frames at SHSU (5/21) … tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings against Stephen F. Austin (5/27) at the Southland Tournament.

 

2010 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 29 games for the Islanders in his first season, starting four … threw 42 innings, posting a 1-4 record with one save and an 8.14 ERA … his 29 appearances led the team … struck out two apiece in first two outings of the year … collected the save against Texas State (3/6) … made his first start of the year at Texas (4/7), surrendering just two hits and one earned run in four innings … tossed three scoreless innings at Stephen F. Austin (4/17) … got the win over Texas Southern (4/28) with three solid frames … struck out five in four innings against Central Arkansas (5/8) … had a season-high six punchouts in three innings against Sam Houston State (5/21) … pitched over the summer for Front Range in the Valley Baseball League going 1-1 with a 3.09 ERA with 11 Ks in 11 2/3 innings.

Alvin Junior College: Played at Alvin for head coach Brian Alexander … helped lead team to region title and JUCO World Series … Dolphins finished the season 42-18 … tossed 48 innings posting a 5-2 record with a 4.32 ERA.

High School: Prepped at Miller High School in Corpus Christi for head coach Luis Garcia … finished his career by going 4-2 with a 1.73 ERA and 72 strikeouts as a senior … twice named all-district first team and was team MVP as a senior … also played football, leading team to playoffs, and was all-district at quarterback.
