Posted an 8-4 record and 3.47 ERA, making 16 starts and appearing in 19 games … threw 106 1/3 innings, the second highest total in school history … struck out 88 batters to just 36 walks on the year … delivered two complete games, including a shutout … tossed seven innings, allowing one run, in a no-decision against Mississippi Valley State (2/19) … struck out five in five innings against Houston Baptist (3/1) … went six shutout frames at UTPA (3/8) … punched out eight in a no-decision against Texas Tech (3/13) … scattered four hits in seven innings at Nicholls (3/19) … picked up the win with seven solid frames against McNeese (3/26) … threw a complete-game shutout with five strikeouts at Lamar (4/8) … struck out six in seven innings against UCA (4/29) … went seven innings to earn the win over UT Arlington (5/7) … struck out a career-high 10 in six innings in a win over NW State (5/14) … delivered a complete-game victory over SHSU (5/19), punching out six and allowing one run … scattered eight hits in seven innings, striking out seven, in a no-decision against UTSA (5/25) in the Southland Tournament.

2010 (JUNIOR):
Appeared in 23 games in his first season for the Islanders, starting five … tied for team lead with three wins … second on the pitching staff in appearances … finished season with a 3-5 record and 8.17 ERA … punched out three in three shutout innings against Prairie View (2/21) … tossed two shutout frames against Nicholls (3/20) to earn a win … struck out seven in 3 2/3 frames against McNeese State (3/26) … got the victory with three scoreless innings against Texas – Pan American (3/30) … pitched for the Eau Claire (Wis.) Express of the Northwoods League over the summer, where he also made the all-star team … helped lead the Express to the postseason with a 7-1 record and a 1.36 ERA.

Yavapai Junior College:
Coached by Sky Smeltzer at Yavapai Junior College … helped lead team to conference title as a sophomore, recording a 5-2 mark with a 2.50 ERA … team finished the season with a 48-12 mark.

High School:
Prepped at Mountain Ridge HS in Glendale, Ariz., where he was coached by Tommy Eubanks … finished 9-0 with a 2.12 ERA his senior season as team was 24-0 … lost just one game as a junior, going 8-1 with 2.40 ERA … won Team Leader Award as senior and Cy Young Award as a junior.
