Tickets for the 2010 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament, which will be held May 26-29 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
The best value is the all-tournament pass for $50, which allows entry to each game of the double-elimination event. Single day passes (four games) are $15 for adults 18-and-over, while youth day passes are $10.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday's action are broken down into two sessions with two games in the morning session at 9 a.m. and noon, while the evening session includes games at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Single session tickets (two games) are $10 for adult and $5 for youth. Children 5-and-under are admitted free. Students from the 12 Southland Conference universities are admitted free with a valid institutional ID.
There will be a minimum of 13 games played over four days during the Southland Tournament. Up to three games could be played Saturday, with the championship set for 6 p.m. There will be a minimum of 45 minutes between games with no game starting prior to its scheduled time.
The winner of the tournament will receive the Southland Conference's automatic bid into the NCAA tournament in June.
The tournament will be hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Whataburger Field, the home of the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Houston Astros' Double-A affiliate.
