2009 (FRESHMAN): Was a strong utility player, starting 46 games of the 51 he appeared in ... started games in left field (17) at shortstop (12), second base (9), first base (4), designated hitter (3) and in right field (1) ... hit .278 on the season with three homers, 20 RBI and 29 runs scored, which was fourth on team ... swiped seven bags in only eight attempts ... posted 13 multi-hit games which was fifth on the Islanders ... had a career-best three hits three different times ... picked up first hit and RBI against Texas State, as he was 1-of-2 ... was 2-of-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI against UTPA at Whataburger Field ... finished 5-of-7 in two games against Texas Tech ... posted first home run in Southland play, going 3-for-5 against Lamar with two RBI and two runs scored ... saw limited time on the mound, making four appearances ... tossed 3 1/3 innings with just one earned run allowed and two strikeouts.
