Posted nine appearances, punching out five in 6 2/3 innings of work … made season debut with two punchouts in one inning at Houston Baptist (3/1) … went 1 1/3 scoreless at Texas Tech (3/13) … had scoreless outings against UT-Brownsville (3/22) and McNeese State (3/25) … had a scoreless frame against Texas (4/5).

2010 (SOPHOMORE):
Made two appearances before missing the rest of the season with an injury … was 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA … in two appearances, held opponents to a .167 batting average … went 2 2/3 against Prairie View (2/21), allowing a hit and a walk in collecting the victory.

2009 (FRESHMAN):
Made 14 appearances on the mound as a freshman, with 13 games out of the bullpen … Did not record a decision … tossed 17 1/3 innings while posting a 10.38 ERA … recorded two or more Ks four times … had a season-high four strikeouts against Alabama (3/5) as he tossed two innings … struck out three batters against Sam Houston State (5/14) in final appearance of season … made lone start against UTPA in a midweek game.

Played for head coach Victor Herbst at Craig High School in Janesville, Wis. … was named all-state, all-conference and all-district during his senior season … rated the No. 4 prospect in the state of Wisconsin by Perfect Game … played travel ball for Hitters Baseball in Wisconsin … was 5-1 on the mound as a senior with a 1.96 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 46 2/3 innings … also started at shortstop.
