2011 (JUNIOR): Had a stellar junior campaign, finishing third on the team with a .328 average … played in 59 games, starting 53 … scored 34 runs and drove in 25 with six doubles … posted a .405 on-base percentage thanks in part to a school-record 13 HBP … swiped 14 bases and had eight sac bunts … went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Oregon State (2/26) … drove in two and stole two bases against HBU (3/1) … delivered two hits against Texas State (3/6) … went 4-for-4 at Texas Tech (3/13) … went 2-for-3 against Nicholls (3/19) … had a 3-for-4 day with three steals in the finale against the Colonels (3/20) … scored twice against UT-Brownsville (3/22) … had two hits against McNeese State (3/26) … went 2-for-3 with two runs in the opener with UTSA (4/1) … had two hits and scored twice against Stephen F. 2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 53 games, starting 50 for the Islanders … hit one home run with 23 RBI hitting .283 … second on the team with 191 at-bats … broke the school’s record-long hitting streak in the opening game of the season against Prairie View, in which he went 5-for-9 with four RBI in the doubleheader … his streak ended at 24 games against Nebraska (2/26) … went 4-of-7 in stolen bases during the season … had two doubles, three hits and four RBI against Prairie View (2/21) … also had three hits in the second game against PVSU … had a big series at McNeese, delivering three hits in each of the first two games and driving in six runs with a homer in the Saturday affair … went 6-for-6 with four runs against Central Arkansas (5/8) … played summer baseball for the Victoria Generals of Texas Collegiate League and was fourth on the team with a .309 batting average.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 53 games, starting 49 … named to the Ping! Baseball Freshman All-America team … led the Islanders with a .335 batting average … finished season with a 22-game hitting streak … second on team with 65 hits, three triples and nine stolen bases … was third in on-base percentage at .394, and runs scored (33), while fourth with 18 walks … recorded first multi-hit game of career against Texas State, going 4-for-4 with a run scored … finished Texas State series going 7-of-12 in three games … went 2-for-4 against Houston Baptist with a career-best four RBI … had solo home run against McNeese State as he was 3-of-4 in series finale … belted second home run of his career against nationally-ranked Texas … posted eight multi-hit games during 22-game hitting streak to end season averaging .378 (34-of-90) during the stretch.

High School: Played for Calallen High School and coach Steve Chapman … helped team to a 42-1 record and state title his senior season … team won state in 2005 as well … batted .405 with a team-best 55 runs scored and 24 RBI as a senior earning all-state honors … reached base 50 straight games … named all-district, all-metro and all-South Texas three times … lettered in football three seasons twice earning all-state honors.
