CORPUS CHRISTI – “Islanders Insider,” a new half-hour show looking into the world of Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Athletics, will debut on Comcast SportsNet-Houston on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. The show will feature segments with men’s basketball coach Willis Wilson and women’s basketball coach Royce Chadwick as well as features and upcoming promotions for all the Islanders programs.

“We’re so excited to launch ‘Islanders Insider,’” Director of Athletics Scott Lazenby said. “The folks at Comcast SportsNet-Houston have been amazing to work with and we are really looking forward to what should be an exciting partnership between Islanders Athletics and CSN-Houston. Because of their commitment to covering regional college athletics, our programs will enjoy outstanding exposure – both here at home and, eventually, nationwide.”

CSN-Houston is a new regional sports network that launched on Oct. 1, 2012, and will be the home of the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros. The network also has a strong commitment to high school and college sports in the greater Houston area, including the Southland Conference and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.

The network is available to all local TV providers and is seeking full distribution across the Comcast SportsNet footprint as fast as possible.  The network will be available to all Comcast Houston video customers and is in active discussions with providers across the five state footprint.  That includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.
