Islanders’ Basketball Teams Set To Take Part In Marina Market Day

CORPUS CHRISTI – The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi men’s and women’s basketball teams will be on hand at the Corpus Christi Marina Market Day Saturday, Sept. 3, to sign posters and greet Islanders fans. This will mark the third Marina Market Day in Corpus Christi and the first appearance for the teams.

This is a great opportunity for fans to catch up with both teams and welcome the new Islanders’ players while enjoying food, music and other activities.

The event is free and fans can catch the players on the Lawrence Street T-Head off of Shoreline Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Marina Market Day draws in tourists to check out different music, arts, crafts and food vendors.  

The men’s team will open their season on the road against Oklahoma State on Friday, Nov. 11 and the women’s team will play host to Missouri in their season opener on Sat, Nov. 12.
