Directions to Texas A&M - Corpus Christi campus
(Chapman Field, Dugan Wellness Center, Island Hall,
Fieldhouse):
From San Antonio via I-37: Take I-37 to the Southern
terminus, then take the exit for Bayfront/Shoreline Blvd/C.C. Museum. Take a right onto
Shoreline Drive and follow this road as it turns into Ocean Drive
(Corpus Christi Bay will remain on your left). After approximately
seven miles, you will cross the causeway onto Ward Island, home of
Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
From Houston/Victoria: Follow US-77 South to I-37 then follow the above directions for San Antonio.
From Rio Grande Valley: Take US-77 North to Texas 44 East in Robstown. Follow Rt. 44 for 11 miles to Texas 358 East. Follow Texas 358 East approximately 11 miles to the exit for Ennis Joslin Rd./Texas Rt. 3. Turn left at traffic light onto Ennis Joslin Dr. and follow this road for 2.4 miles. Turn right on Ocean Drive (end of road) and you will enter the causeway onto Ward Island, home of Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
For Dugan Wellness Center/Island Hall/Fieldhouse, take a right at the second light on campus (Sanddollar Blvd.). Be sure to stop at the security gate to secure a visitor's parking pass. Take the second right (Curlew Drive) and the athletics complex will be at the end of the drive on the left.
For Chapman Field, take a right at the first light on campus (Island Blvd.). Be sure to stop at the security gate to secure a visitor's parking pass. Take the second left (Oso Drive) then turn right after the police station on Dolphin Lane. Follow Dolphin Lane around to the left, and park in the Turtle Cove Parking Lot on right. Chapman Field will be just on the other side of the parking lot.

Whataburger Field:
Whataburger Field is located in downtown Corpus Christi near the

West Guth Park: West Guth Park is located just northwest of downtown Corpus Christi on I-37.
From Corpus Christi/Points East: Take I-37 North to Exit 9. Turn left at the base of the exit, then take your first left and go under the interstate. Turn right onto Up River Rd. and the Park will be on your left.
From San Antonio/Points West: take I-37 South to Exit 10. Turn right at the base of the exit, then take an immediate left onto Up River Rd. The Park will be on your right after approximately 3/4 of a mile.
From Rio Grande Valley: Take
US-77 North to I-37 South. Follow directions above for San
Antonio.

Baseball & Softball
Chapman Field has been the on-campus home of Islanders Baseball and Softball since 2002. The fields received major upgrades prior to the 2012 season, with both playing surfaces being completely overhauled with upgraded drainage systems and new fences. The baseball field also added lights, making night baseball on Ward Island a reality for the first time in program history.
The Islanders will eventually play at home in the new Momentum Complex just west of Nile Drive. A rendering is below.
Baseball
The Islanders baseball team plays every year in the Kleberg Bank
College Classic at Whataburger Field, the downtown home of the AA
Corpus Christi Hooks. The facility has been named the best park in
minor league baseball multiple times. A total of 7,002 fans came
through the turnstiles to see the Islanders take on Texas on March
6, 2007.
Men's & Women's Basketball
American Bank Center
After beginning their programs by in Memorial Coliseum, the men's and women's programs moved into the American Bank Center for the 2004-05 season and have called it home since. It seats over 8,000 for hoops.The largest crowd for an Islanders game came during the 2004-05 season when Oklahoma State visited in a non-conference men's game with 8,431 in attendance. Also, that same year the women's program hosted Fresno State in a Women's NIT game.

Volleyball
Dugan Wellness Center
The Dr. Jack and Susie Dugan Wellness Center is the new home for the Islander volleyball team and will also host select men's and women's basketball games. It has two NCAA regulation basketball courts and a 9,000-square foot strength and conditioning facility along with office space for the athletic department. The second phase of the building includes additional gym space and locker rooms.
The Fieldhouse is the practice facility for men's and women's basketball. It houses locker rooms, an athletic training area and the new weight room for Islanders Strength and Conditioning.
The new home of Islanders Strength and Conditioning features over 10 tons of weights, donated by Gold's Gym. It provides athletes with a place to work out and improve away from the playing arena all year round.
NEW WEIGHT ROOM PHOTO GALLERY
The new Thomas J. Henry Tennis Facility, located on Nile Drive just west of Oso Bay, is one of the finest tennis facilities in the area. With 12 courts painted in a U.S. Open style, the facility has 12 lighting banks to allow play after dusk. The new facility has ample room for all Islanders fans to come out and root on their team.

Dr. Jack Dugan Family Soccer &
Track Stadium
The university broke ground on the Dr. Jack Dugan Family Soccer & Track Stadium on May 25, 2012. The approximately $8.8 million facility will be home to the Islanders track team and the newly-established Islanders women's soccer program. When it is completed in Spring 2013, the 15,300-square foot facility, which features a soccer field enclosed by an eight-lane track, will host Southland Conference competitions as well as non-conference games and tournaments featuring nationally-prominent programs from across the country. There will also be seating for up to 1,000 spectators, concessions, a press box, private suites, locker rooms, training rooms, storage, a ticket office, coaching offices, and a paved parking lot.
