Samantha Cochran is a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Islanders softball team, as well as the spirit squads. Cochran graduated from Anderson University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training, and then attended Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, graduating in 2008 with a professional degree in massage therapy.

After her graduation in 2008, she worked at Portage, a 5A high school in Portage, Ind., from 2008-2012. Cochran is a certified and licensed athletic trainer. She is originally from Hammond, Ind. and currently resides in Corpus Christi.
