AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Appeared in 28 games, averaging 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds a game...Had two blocks in season-opener against Texas College in eight minutes of action...Injured after second game of the season in which he missed threee games...Scored his first six points of the year at UNLV...Played a season-high 10 minutes at UNLV where he was 3-of-4 from the field...Recorded a career-high 13 points in just 13 minutes against Norfolk State in the Duel in the Desert Tournament...Pulled down a season-high seven rebounds against Norfolk State...Picked up first steal of the season at Purdue...Tied a season-high with two blocks at Northwestern State...Scored eight points at Texas-Arlington where he was 3-of-4 from the field...Played just six minutes at Texas-San Antonio, but picked up two rebounds with two blocks and a steal. .. AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06): Appeared in all 28 games, starting eight...Averaged 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds a game...Shot 55.6 percent from the field (35-63) and was third on the team with 41 offensive rebounds...Was second on the team with 21 blocks...Set several season highs in the second game of his career where he had six offensive rebounds, seven field-goal attempts, nine total rebounds, three assists and five blocks...At one time started five consecutive games...Had four blocks and two steals against Savannah State and pulled down eight rebounds against James Madison in the Flint Hills Islander Invitational...Scored a season-high nine points twice that included the first game of his collegiate career.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Buffalo High School for coach Mike Anderson ... Averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game garnering him first team all-district, district MVP, all-region and second team all-state...was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the district as well as the area...As a junior he was named first team all-district, leading is team to a state-playoff berth...Also lettered in track and field and was a member of the band as a percussionist.
