AS A JUNIOR (2008-09): One of two players to start all 33 games...was named the 2008-09 Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year and to the NABC District 23 All-District first team after leading the league in scoring with 18.2 points a game and finishing 11th in the nation with 2.6 steals a game including nine games with at least four...set a single-season school record with 86 steals...netted 599 points which is the second-highest single-season mark in school history and is already fifth all-time with 13 games with 20-or-more points...was the top scorer for the Islanders in 25 games topping 30 points on three occasions and 20-or-more on 10 others...led the team by hitting 80.9% of his free throw attempts (165-of-204)...netted a career-high 35 points in the opening round of the Southland Conference Tournament against UT Arlington (3/12)...was 12-of-17 from the floor and 9-of-11 from the foul line...had 31 points in win over Georgia (12/22) including a game-winning 3-point basket at the buzzer...swiped seven steals at Georgia breaking the school record of six...recorded 30 points and matched his career-best with eight rebounds at UTSA (2/18)...drove the length of the court in the closing seconds to score the game-winning basket at Northwestern State (1/17) finishing with 25 points in the process...drained a three-point basket with 39 seconds remaining which proved to be the game-winner at Nicholls (2/7).

PRIOR TO TAMUCC: Played two seasons at Cecil College in Maryland for head coach William Lewit...was named first team all-conference and all-region as a sophomore...led team in scoring with 18.7 points a game as team finished 31-1 overall and 16-0 in the Maryland Junior College Conference...also grabbed six rebounds, swiped two steals and dished out three assists a contest to earn third team All-America honors...team was unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA in the final regular season poll before falling in overtime to Prince George’s Community College. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Parkville High School for head coach Rod Norris in Baltimore, Md...led team to a 17-7 won-loss record as senior...averaged 21 points, four assists and five rebounds in his final campaign...was named the Knights’ Most Valuable Player as a senior...played in the City vs. Country All-Star Game and the Charm City All-Star Game.
