Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball program announced that walk-on tryouts will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28. The tryout will take place from 2-4 p.m. on campus at Chapman Field and is open only to full-time students of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

To be eligible to tryout prospective walk-ons must complete the following before Thursday, Aug 26.

• - Email assistant coach Teresa Flores at Teresa.flores@tamucc.edu and head coach Jake Schumann Jake.schumann@tamucc.edu, students must provide a phone number in the email.
• - Come to the Athletic Department located on the second floor of the Dugan Wellness Center and office 225. Students must fill-in name and A-ID number  on sign-in sheet on door.

• - Students are asked to bring their own gloves and cleats to tryouts. Bats and helmets will be provided if needed, athletes are allowed to bring their own.
