MISSION STATEMENT

The mission for the Center for Athletic Academic Services is to provice services to student-athletes that will enhance their academic experience, assist in their retention and development as students as well as promote the CHAMPS/Life Skills program and the five commitment areas:

1. Academic Excellence

2. Athletic Excellence

3. Personal Development

4. Career Development

5. Service

Services include supervised study hall, a computer lab, individual and group tutoring sessions as well as the availability of learning assistants. Scholastic supervisors work with the athletic department, students, coaches, faculty and staff to coordinate the student-athlete's schedule, determine academic eligibility, and provide necessary support to the student-athlete.
