Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Honor Selection Criteria
Criteria for
Membership
- The Athletic Hall of Honor will be open to persons who have
made significant contributions to Texas A&M University-Corpus
Christi such as:
- An outstanding student-athlete at Texas A&M
University-Corpus Christi.
- A coach, administrator, or athletic official who has made a
long term contribution to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
Athletics through leadership.
- An outstanding team which achieved a Conference championship or
a national ranking.
- A supporter who has made significant contributions to the
advancement of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
- Additional consideration will be given for contributions to
society through community activities, through achievement in a
chosen professional field, and or any other efforts which bring
credit and distinction to Texas A&M University-Corpus
Christi.
- Timeline
- A time period of five (5) years must have elapsed after
student-athlete exhausts his or her eligibility.
- A time period of five (5) years must have elapsed since a
coach, administrator, or athletic official has held an official
capacity at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
- A time period of five (5) years must have elapsed after a team
achieved significant recognition.
- Supporters are eligible immediately
- Exceptions to the time period guidelines must receive a
unanimous vote.
